1994 Ford F 150 Trailer Brake Wiring. I found the trailer brake adapter in the glovebox but I can't find where it plugs in under the dash. Always verify proper operation of the electronic brake controller before towing a trailer.
After looking under the rear of the truck I purchased a brake controller with Ford adapter, plugged both connectors in and it all works. This is found in the IPC module. Vehicles must be equipped with Trailer Tow Package or Max Trailer Tow Package (wiring) for kit to be functional.
Six wire plugs: Horse, stock or utility trailers: White = Ground - GD Yellow = Left turn/Brake -LT Green.
I changed all my spark plugs and put new wiring and new distributor cap.
This is found in the IPC module. Found the factory plugin and found the wiring is not the standard colors. That brake controller wire can be difficult to locate in the rear.
